At United Way, we invest in programs and assets that will make an impact and change the lives of those living in Colchester and Cumberland Counties.*
Our program funding is offered once per year (in the Fall) and our impact grants are offered 1-2 times per year (in the Spring and/ or Fall; Colchester only). Before making recommendations to our Board of Directors for approval, the Community Investment Committee reviews all applications from eligible agencies to ensure that each funded program relates to one or more of our three focus areas and will truly make a difference.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, individuals including children, youth, and families received support from our community partners. Donations helped move people out of poverty, meet basic human needs, and improve the lives of some of the most vulnerable in Colchester and Cumberland counties.
